What We Believe

About the Bible

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God (2 Peter 1:21)

About God

We believe in the triune Godhead as eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (2 Corinthian 13:14)

About Jesus

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His present priestly ministry. (1 Corinthians 15:1-8)

About Man

We believe that man was created good and upright. However, man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death which is separation from God (Romans 5:12-19).

About Salvation

We believe in salvation only through the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 9:14-28)

About The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as on the day of Pentecost and in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit as evidenced in charismatic gifts and ministries and in His fruit in the life of the believer (Acts 2:4; Ephesians 4:11; 1 Corinthians 12:8-11; Galatians 5:22,23)

About Water Baptism

We believe that the ordinances of Baptism by immersion in water and the Lord’s Supper should be regularly practiced in the local church (Matthew 28:19,20 ; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

About The Church

We believe that it is the duty and privilege of every believer, within his or her ability, to support the local church with his or her regular presence, giving, and service (Hebrews 10:24,25)

About Life

We believe in the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception until the moment of natural death (Genesis 2:7; Exodus 20:13; 1 Samuel 2:6; Psalm 139:13; Jeremiah 1:5; Acts 17:25)
