Jesus - the fulfillment of prophesy - came to the earth and brought salvation for all people. This grace is what we must guard in our lives. There is nothing easy about Grace. Grace has been a problem for the world since the beginning of Jesus' life. Grace can call us to be uncomfortable. It invites persecution and it can lead us into places we don’t fully understand, where we are forced to rely on grace alone. Grace is a free gift, but it is not a handout, an entitlement, or permission for apathy. Grace changes us. It calls us to transformation—to be conformed to the image of Christ, to become more like Jesus every day, and to live our lives for the glory of God alone.
